Stock Investor Pro SIG

Our investment education focus is the Stock Investor Pro stock screening database available from the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII). Each meeting includes training on using the product as well as discussion of other screening tools and stock selection methods. Our 2010 meeting calendar is as follows:

• Tuesday, March 2, 2010 – StockScreen123 stock screening tool
• Monday, April 19, 2010 - Dreman screen with annual holding period, backtesting

Who should attend?

SIG meetings are not limited to Stock Investor Pro. Presentations on other topics of investor interest such as Economic Indicators and Market Breadth are part of every meeting.

Participation in the SIG meetings does not require asubscription to the database and stock screening software.

Meeting time and location

Meetings begin at 6:30 with demonstrations of how to use the features of the system. This is followed by a discussion of one of the pre-defined stock screens supplied with the system. Discussion points include the rationale behind the screen as well as the published performance of the screen.
